Newcomer needs Paypal help

Hello all. I recently joined GJ after searching for toolboxes & have been feeling my way around the forums. I am now addicted!

My question is about buying tools & using paypal. I have never done this & wonder if I could get some help as to how this works. If I decide to purchase some tools here how would I use paypal? Do I need to sign up somewhere first? Thanks in advance & really admire how you guys rally around each other. Hopefully I can add some insight for others as well

.....honestly, it's really easy to set-up....just follow the FAQ's on the site.

paypal.com you need to sign up and put a credit card or bank account that you will be paying from. to send money to someone you need their email address that they use with paypal

I accept money orders ..... and also paypal.

You have to establish an account w/Paypal using your credit card. If you choose, you can also have Paypal set to access your checking account directly to pay for whatever. This is Paypal Verified or something like that. I did this years ago. So far no problems.

If you wish to send money to someone, you actually send it to his email address. He must either already have a Paypal account or, I think, establish one to access the funds.

Paypal does charge a fee to a seller. Paypal does not charge for money gifts.

I don't know about pulling back payments as I've yet to have a need to do so.

If you pay using gift payment you have no protection if you dont' get the item.
