Been searching for about a year. Looking for just the right deal. My sights were kinda set on a Miller 175 or 180 but it had to be pristine, come with a tank and most importantly, it had to be MY price!
Then this popped up.
Hobart Ironman 210. This unit was a demo at a local welding supply house that went out of business. It was part of the severence package for the asst. manager. He put it in storage for awhile then decided to get rid of it.
It's vitually brand new. There's maybe 20 hrs on it, and that's being liberal. Comes with an unused owner-owned 150cf tank that's full with a 75/25 mix, a spare whip/gun assembly, has the optional switch installed to changeover to a spoolgun and even has the original .035 spool that has about 2/3 left. Except for a few minor scratches on the top panel where someone set something on it, this thing is pristine and ready to go! It'll handle 22ga up to 3/8" steel with one pass. I'm gonna wire a 220v recepticle inline and upstream of my air compressor, this weekend. It's on a 50a breaker. Just have to be sure not to run both at the same time!
For the curious.........$700. I think that's a pretty good deal.
