This is my first post, but I have been reading and looking at the site for over a year now planning my build and figuring out exactly what I wanted/needed. I am restricted somewhat by HOA but was able to add a little more sq. ft. by working with the HOA. Overall, the space is around 1,344 sq.ft. with around another 500-700 sq.ft. in unfinished storage above the garage.

I will try to attached many pictures of the build and the things I know about it. My stepfather built the garage and did the research for the radiant heat so sorry if I am not much help there. I would like to finish the floor with either a nice stain or epoxy. Still determining which would be best for my use and most cost effective.

Hope you enjoy and may use an idea or two from my garage as I have from others here that have posted in the past.

Framing Continues and trusses go on. There is plenty of storage space above. It finally starts to look like something.

Continuing on w/pictures of the build. Roof going on. The walls are over 11 ft. high. Plenty of room to fit the 24ft enclosed trailer in the garage w/ the drive through option.

Finishing the outside. Cement board going on and brick on the front to match the house. The HOA required everything to look the same. Access to the storage is behind a wall.

Thanks. We are hoping the Willys is ready for May or June. It will have a 426 Wedge w/Hillborn fuel injected stacks. Roll cage, ladder bars, etc. We are building it to reflect how it used to look when it raced in the 60's.

Nice garage! Maybe I missed it but what are you going to use te room off the back for? Also, did you isolate your storage upstairs from the downstairs (framed off door or something) or is it heated also. I have storage above my garage also and will hopefully insulate next year but didn't know how I was going to isolate the two.

Thanks

I am putting some couches and tv in the back room. Making it my man room w/surround sound etc. When I am tired or cleaning on cars, I can take a break or have the guys out there to hang out.

The upstairs is blocked off. The entry way is framed in w/an extra tall door. It is not heated upstairs but used just for storage. I put a plywood wall around it as a border to stack things up against it.

Damn...that's one nice shop!! Love the toys, too. Nice to hear you plan to put the Willys back to it's former glory.
