I recently built a 32x60 building with radiant heat in the floor. I purchased a boiler with 100K BTU for NG, but the boiler supplier mfg. and the gas line supplier will not give me any recommendation as to what size line I should use for 150' run. I have no other appliances being run on this line. Any suggestions? 1" or 1 1/4" underground line??

Thanks in advance for any help.

It depends on several things. What pressure system is it a 2 psi or a 7 inch water system. The gas company or the gas inspector should be able to tell you what size to use. That is part of the inspection they figure to see if you meet code. The incoming pressure and type of pressure regulator is information the gas company has. They have to figure every elbow and coupling etc to come up with pressure drop before they pass a system.

I have no idea but I'll do some research.

It certainly sounds more complicated than I originally thought... it always is :)

you will need 1 1/4 line for 7" wc. that is typical in the use. Only industrial buildings would have higher pressure for very large applications.
