We are in the process of bringing 2 families together..and what better place to start than with the garage!
This is a work in progress, but I wish I had taken a before pic. The house is 15 yrs old and the 24x24 garage was primarily used as catch-all storage and a place to put the gargbage.
I'm into restoring muscle cars (mostly pontiac and chevy) and my "new family" is into Fords, so we needed to compromise. After a massive cleaning, we painted the raw sheetrock, installed eight 8' florescent lights, and we just finished putting down ucoat-it. Next up is addressing the nasty wiring
, painting the railing/covering the stairs, cabinets, benches, and toolboxes:
...the bumps that you see in the signs aren't air pockets, but the flek. It looks really good in person, but I do wish we hade taped off the graphic areas to prevent the bumps.
More pix to come of the lighting...
