can any tell me more about this like age and is it worth a damn. it says thor from independent pneumatic tool co.

Thor made some good drills way back when, but I have never seen a nibbler by them. My Thor drill is one of my favorites and must have been made at a similar time to the nibbler considering the label plate style.

My rough guess for the age would be the 30s or 40s.

Old power tools are almost never worth much.
Personally I really like them though, clean it up, and I'm sure you'll get many years of service from it.
