Looks a lot like a delta 40-440. Good saws and were made up to the eighties or so. Make sure it is complete before you buy......like the upper and lower chucks. Do an Ebay search to see what they look like, then you can go looking, informed.

With that stand $100 is OK, but you might do better. I have two, with stands that need a bit of work (missing parts) that I paid $50 ea for.

That one looks to be a newer model as it bolts to the stand from beneath. The older ones have some crazy "J" bolts outside and pull down through ears on the saw base.

If it had that light (called a retirement light) it is worth $100 alone, check around on Ebay.....absolutely crazy.

Have look around here to see many others..

Just for reference, I just picked up this scroll saw a few weeks ago for $50 with motor and table. It's a Dunlap, which was made by King Seeley for Sears - Dunlap was Sears alternative to Craftsman. It's wicked heavy duty and runs like a champ.

I believe the saw you are looking at is just a hair bigger (mine is the 18" throat depth). The model number on mine is 103.0407, Circa 1943:

I'd prolly pay a bit closer to $50, but I have minimal interest without the cast Iron stand. The fresh powder coat is nice
