I went into the Dollar Tree the other day in search of some trays for my toolbox and found these. They come in all different sizes, nice thick plastic, and rubber lined on the inside. For $1 a piece im definitely going back for more. Figured id pass this on for anyone who's junk drawer(s) is getting out of hand.

haven't seen those, will have to look for them. I do buy the clear plastic ones with the white lids from dollar tree by the dozen!, they're about shoebox sized and fairly stout. I have literally dozens of them in the polebarn, woodshop spare bedroom, etc. filled with stuff. they fit nice in a chest of drawers and/or filing cabinets as well.

Thanks for the heads up.

I just ran to the local Dollar Tree and picked up ten of them. I was looking for something to organize some end mills and a few other items and these should work perfectly.

Thank you.

I bought a couple of the narrow ones a while ago. They are a nice storage tray. I was thinking about getting a few more, but actually forgot where I bought them. :tard: Thanks for the post.

I bought a bunch of small containers from the dollar store to organize nuts and bolts. Beats what i had, which was basically that everything was in one big box.

Those look like a couple I bought at Family Dollar, which is owned by The Dollar Tree Corp. I put them in the drawer of the squad for organizing. I think I paid more than a dollar for them. I'll have to check them out when I go back to work on Thursday.

^ seconded.

you lose a decent amount of space with those tapered sides, not a problem with the Schaller bins.

The Schaller bins are nice, and inexpensive, but you'll probably spend as much on UPS shipping as you will on bins - I have several times. too bad they're not on Amazon in packs of 5, or similar, as an add on.

Maybe you do lose some storage room with the tapered sides, but I've always found removing small parts from containers with 90 degree sides a pain. The tapered sides make things easier for me to slide out a part. But maybe it's just me... :dunno:

I save the gift tins from the chocolates that I receive during the holidays. They work pretty well as trays.

For bigger bins, these are super cheap and surprisingly durable.

I have a few dozen in shop use for a few years now - Hot TX temps... not one cracked or detiorated yet.

VERY durable... good plastic compound.

Under $1 each on shelf at Wally world.

They also have the larger one next to it on shelf in store for under $2 each.

Insane deal.

Get one and test it out.

Totally more durable than any clear ones I have had.

These are exactly what I use to organize my junkdrawer. Pliers in one, screwdrivers another, etc.. Mine came from Walmart.
