Looking for a nice can other than vinyl or galvanized, about 20-30gal. Not fancy,
but not ugly. I've seen stainless for $139 21 gal. Any help?

I can't find a stainless for anywhere near the price you have. Most are at least double that price and smaller in size. I'd say go with the one you found for $129. Post a link if you could also please.

I got a penzoil can from the local jiffylube for free. It's about 25 gal. Not sure if that's what you're looking for but it fits the old car theme pretty well. They get their trans fluid and gear oil in these cans. As far as I know, they discard them when done.

How about buying a galvanized can and hitting it with some stainless paint from eastwood? OR tape off some flames and go crazy. Be sure to get a good layer of primer on. POR-15 has some good stuff for an application like this.

Just a thought. :willy_nil

I like that stainless piece from Sams. Very clean looknig. But I'd probably lean toward the old oil Pennzoil drum mentioned above.

Unfortunately, my favorite brands out of business, and drums like that don't come around very often. When they do, they are big $$$. SO I lpanned on hitting my local lube shop up for one, and then repainting it.
