I got one of these at Autozone yesterday. The gleam from them caught my eye and the silky finish is like no other tool I have. Very smooth operation and quality. They are Crm Vn as well. Made in Taiwan, I feel they are even better than the old USA Vice Grip versions. They also have the needle nose versions.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but Stronghand tools are the best locking c-lamps I have and use. With their heavy I-beam style construction, they don't distort if you weld too close to them. Super smooth, and the release lever design works very well. And, they're only $12 each. They also have them with swivel pads for $12.95, and smaller ones are $9.

There are many different types, styles and manufacturers. I was just sharing information about this particular pliers. Feel free to start a strong hand thread...

I have a set of those exact autozone C-clamps.... they are junk.
they will buckle and/or unsnap if you press them too hard.

Stronghand stuff is top notch.

I would typically refer to these as locking C-clamps. The tag clearly does too.

The thread title would lead one to believe MIG pliers with wire cutters, hammer head, nozzle cleaner, tip grabber etc.

But sure, the Duralast as pictured looks nice. I've converted to the Milwaukee's 'cause they're so damn nice, but at a much higher price point than these Duralasts.

Locking C Clamp Pliers

Locking C Clamps they are... in my experience these are the first thing welders grab (including myself) when they want to hold something together for the tac.
