Thanks for posting it up!!!

While we are on the subject, what's a good source for handles for these guys. I have a Craftsman plastic/metal handle that has threads and whose grip increases as you tighten it, but it never has held on very well.
T100, where did you get those?
What is the difference between Swiss Pattern & American Pattern files? From looking on the web, American Pattern are most general files while Swiss is just very thin or needle files? Is anything else going on here that I'm missing?
Sorry for the thread drift but I guess the Amazon file sale is overand I wanted to answer Joe's question. Here is a link to a Nicholson article that explains file terminology:

My files arrived today (except for the Ergo handled ones). All were marked Nicholson/Apex Tool Group with no mention of Cooper. Apex of course, is a joint venture between Cooper and Danaher. Soon after Apex was formed last year, production began moving overseas.

All of the newer Nicholson files that I see at Lowes, etc, are marked Nicholson/Cooper. They are generally in Cooper colored packaging (blue and red). The files I got from Amazon were in all red packaging with no Cooper designation. I suspect maybe Amazon is clearing out their stock of the older marked and packaged Nicholson/Apex files? Anybody have any more information?
Edit: I see that Nicholson is still listed on the Apex website.

It's still interesting that new files I see in stores tend to have the Nicholson/Cooper emblem like this:

None of my orders shipped out yet. =(

I just got my shipped notification about 30 mins ago. Check your emails again. I ordered mine shortly after the deal was posted, go figure I would be one of the last to recieve them![]()
