Nicholson hack saw at Ollie's.

That's too bad, I guess we all get lucky some times.
Yeah, looks decent, they had 2left, and 2 of an off brand left that looked decent too.
But l went with the nicholson cause of the name.
Hope the tool lives up to its name....... Lol
BTW does it look like l needed another hacksaw?

Yes, none of those are high tension

I have that Nicholson saw. Only thing I found was the knurled nut on the bottom was hard for me grip and get really tight. I ended taking a short piece of bar stock and tapping a hole in it to make my own nut that I could grip better.

Yes that is true actually that is why I bought it I tend to tighten those old ones too much and end up bending them

You know its funny you say that I really haven't fooled around with it yet, but I did try to tighten it up and I thought the exact same thing about making a new wing nut type of thing for it.
You don't recall offhand what thread it is do you you?
Most likely metric I'm thinking.

Mine is probably about 3 or 4 years old, had to go and check and it is 10-24NC thread.
