Nicholson Soft Blow Hammer

Found this interesting soft-blow hammer, and wondering if anyone could confirm if or not it might be connected to Nicholson File Co. The only markings on the head are as shown. EDIT: I did find a guy selling NOS 6 packs of these less the inserts on "The Bay" and the label on the box does confirm the connection.

That is certainly the Nicholson logo with the crossed files. I have one that I can’t ID and a larger one marked Williams. Maybe they were made by Nupla.

I'd say the odds are pretty good it was sold by the same company.

No idea who made them, if they didn't make them themselves.

Nupla makes the soft tips so they are a likely candidate.

Thanks for posting this, as it gives me a source for replacing tips on my Williams soft blow hammers. I'll have to check and see if my old Proto hammers have the same tips.
