That's a great looking space. Any plans for storage? Work bench? Floor coatings?

Holy smokes am I ever glad I didn't read this thread and find pictures of it submerged under water. What a beautiful garage, hope you and your family are all safe from the floods!

Storage cabinets / work bench will run along the side wall where the fridge is from front to back. I'll build those myself.

Racedeck flooring next spring (giving my back and wallet a break) Its been a busy enough 2013 already, plus I'm getting married soon. As far as the racedeck pattern, I wanna do a blue border with grey/black checkered pattern throughout.

Not sure what color I want to stain the wood paneling though so that this all goes together. I'll have to give that some thought.

I actually live within walking distance of the reservoir here in Calgary (15 min walk or so). But I'm WAY up on top of the hill so I was in absolutely no danger thank god. However, I had friends and their little baby come stay at my place last weekend because they had been evacuated. Flood waters came within 15ft of their house. Another friend of mine still can't go home because his condo building was flooded pretty bad in the lower levels. Parents and In-laws were all evacuated but have since returned with no damage. It was chaos last weekend.

Looks great. Your car is almost camouflaged in the pattern!

Thanks! Looks like it's rolling across the finish line :) I was going to wait until spring... But I fell into a few bucks and decided to just get it done before winter hits.

Next on the agenda is a bigass work bench and storage cabinets. Right now my tools are all piled up in my shed and its been driving me nuts not having things in a proper place.

Hot damn that looks good! The more of these racedeck floor equip'd garages I see, the more I want it. And I do prefer the look of the freeflow tiles. Nice work!

Love that garage!!! I hope mine turns out that nice! Obviously, I'm going to have to "rip off" the racing stripe design; mine just have to be dark charcoal gray. Keep posting and keep us all motivated.

Thanks guys. It sure brings a smile to my face everytime I walk in to grab a beer outta the fridge :) Still lots of odds and ends to tidy up but I'm glad all the bull work and big purchases are done.
