A buddy and I are planning to restore a few old AC mechanical fuel pumps from Triumph TRs and we're looking for a source of nitrile rubber-coated fabric to cut diaphragms. Anybody know where we can buy modest quantities in sheet form?

Sure, there are fuel pump kits available for this, and they're not all that expensive. We have a few other ideas to test.

Our fallback position will probably be to cut circles about 6 inches diameter (15 cm) from nitrile rubber-coated gloves. Nitrile for resistance to modern fuels, ethanol especially. Gloves would be only one-side coated, though, and we're looking for two-side coated fabric intended for this purpose. Thickness in the range of 0.010-0.020 inches (0.3-0.5 mm) would be best. Coated nylon preferred, coated cotton OK.

Thanks! I'd spent quite a bit of time drilling into the McMaster-Carr site before I posted, but never found the "reinforced rubber" page. I figured they had to have it somewhere!

My google-fu is not strong on this one.
