NM-b sealant

So I am preparing to wire 2 A/C disconnects using #10 NMb wire.

I have a short (I think its 2" long) stub of 1/2" PVC conduit which runs as a water-shedding sleeve thru the vinyl block and into the stud wall.

I want to air-seal/bug-seal/etc between the ID of the PVC and the wire.

Currently available on-site are 100% clear silicone caulk and Great Stuff low-expansion foam. I'm leaning towards the silicone but wanted to see if there are detriments to this or a better choice of products.

(Note: The spade bit and pliers is just to provide restraint to the sleeve as I glued and pressed in the box-bushing....no bearing on this part of the project)

Silicone caulk would be my choice...

Use duct seal. It's cheap, wont damage the wire, and can be easily removed later if you need to replace the wire.
