No concrete blocks under outside walls

Im having a 24x36 garage built right now, and I made sure that my contractor knew that I wanted 4" concrete block under my outside wall framing. I was out of town when he started, and when I got back, it was framed and the roof was already on it.......but NO concrete blocks under the treated 2x4. We do have a contract and the block is not in it, but it was verbal. I know I cant do anything about it now. I guess my question is........will this be alright. He has done a great job on everything else, but Im worried about rot. What ya'll think??

How many homes are built slab on grade? Alot! They are still standing. The question is where the water is going to drain if you need to clean your garage floor? Do you have an infloor drain? Does the slab drain toward the garage door opening? Is there enough room between the siding and the grade of the surrounding landscape so moisture doesn't soak up into the siding then rot it and the studs which aren't pressure treated. Should be fine...without any pictures to show otherwise.

On-slab construction is quite common, what was your reason for specifying block? My garage has block with a poured floor... the slab floor is solid as can be, the block wall in the back has pulled away about 1.5" in the center.

The sill plate HAS to be pressure treated, but anybody knows that. If he missed it, find a new contractor NOW. Otherwise you'll be fine.

There is a center drain, and it will have vinyl siding so no rot there. The the slab is out of the ground all the way around. The concrete finisher did a great job, as all the water drains to the drain, and no low spots for water to stand.
The bottom sill plate is pressure treated, so I think it will ok. I will get some pics up soon. Thanks!!

I wanted the block so I could wash the floor with out getting the walls wet when spraying it out. This sill plate is pressure treated. Thanks!!
