Look carefully, the USA "module" wrenches are usually not in the wrench aisle. Instead, they are typically hidden on the bottom shelf mixed in with with various socket sets. The wrenches are placed in a manner that you usually cannot see the USA or professional stamp (so far that I have saw) and I don't think the box mentions COO. So far every sears I have been to, has segregated them like this.

They are in a long flat box and packaged in the typical red and white chinese packaging, but are still USA where ever I have looked. They are also the same size/length/type/appearance as open stock and older "professional" labeled sets.

I took an open stock USA 3/4, found a SAE USA pro set (black and yellow package), and compared with the module set. All 3 are identical. Previously, members were claiming the module sets were made somewhere else, looked a little different and were slightly shorter. This was not the case 2 weeks ago. Well, they could have been made in a different plant, I can't confirm or deny that. They definitely were identical though.

The world is changing. Craftsman is not what it used to be. I quit buying Craftsman tools a few years ago. I saw the trend to moving production offshore, associates denying lifetime warranty on items that I had the original labels for with the guarantee written on them [gas cans for one, yes they were warrantied for life], and just the lack of competence of the store associates.

I had a few lifetime warrrantied items I replaced at a Sears this weekend and the associate asked me about joining the Craftsman Club. I explained to her that I only come to Sears for warranty replacements now and the above reasons it was this way. I wish it was different, but I have no intentions of paying a made in the USA price, only to be given an offshore made item when and if it needs replacing. I am not going to debate the quality. I will only buy items made in the USA if I can.

Testify my brother I have zero interest in anything Craftsman. Ive moved on to finer tastes European tools. I have to specify exactly what to buy, I am asking for Wera screwdrivers. I swear if I get Craftsman screwdrivers I will throw them at the person who got them.

I'd like to see that!
