Hello. Ive been following this site for awhile now, finally thought I'd start posting as I have some questions. Anyways, my name is Brian (obviously) and let me start by saying I am a tool addict. I'm 23, a mechanical engineering student at THE Ohio State University, entering my 5th and final year (thank goodness!). I got started in cars with a '63 bug I am doing a full pan-off resto on. From there I really got into metalwork and started the obsession. Anyways, being on a college campus I have to make do with whatever place I can rent, and since I cant work on my car I do other small side projects for fun. Because of that I've setup my little shop in the basement of the place I'm at now (see the pics below). That place (like most around here) was a dungeon when I started, almost no lights, dirty dusty, just horrible, now its my slice of heaven. Not to bad a place though, and as soon as I graduate you can bet I'll buy a home and get going on a nice shop for all my cars/tools etc... Some other things maybe worth mentioning that I'm proud of, I did a years worth of co-op's at Honda R&D in the side-impact crash testing group, very, very cool job. Hopefully I get to stay in the automotive testing feild when I graduate, but only time will tell!

Other than that I'd say I'm your average tool stiff!

Respectible setup, for sure. Do you have a walkout or do you have to run stuff up through the house? How many times have you hit your head on that duct?...lol.

No walkout's everything is carried down steps!:( . The way I look at it is that its theift protection, 'casue I doubt many people gonna want to carry all that stuff up the steps, if they even could. I always keep the boxes locked when I'm not here, so they probably weight a good bit.

Yeah, the low ceiling ***** for sure, especially since I'm a bit taller than average. At least that duct isn't right in front of my nice box.
