I wish I could get one of those Klein oval tool bags here in the UK (well I could import one but it would be astronomically expensive) we don't have anything like it available here.
I do have a couple Klein tools, some nutdrivers to fill in some gaps I had, two of their mini canvas buckets I use for carrying fixings, parts, general stuff and some of their zip up bags for fein blades, jigsaw blades, general stuff I want to keep with power tools. Its all good stuff but very expensive once over here so I only buy it when its a unique product or I just want it.
One other thing Klein does well is needle nose pliers. They grip VERY well. Amost as good as my Snap On talon grip needle nose. They are very well made. Way better than the Knipex set and Channellock needle nose that I have.

I was just sitting here thinking the same Brownsfan.
The 5" Klein yellow handled needlenose are outstanding.![]()
What slip-joint pliers are on the left? They look a good bit like my Facoms I like, but that's not it.I don't see much love for Klein tools.![]()

I like the comfort grip on some Craftsman screwdrivers I bought a long time ago. It leads me to strongly consider the Klein c.g. drivers in the future.
YourThe new Klein cushion grips have a different grip than what I think your thinking of. The new ones **** big time, I found that my older ones have a more solid, comfortable feel to them, similar to the cmans you owned. The new ones have pronounced writing and sharper edges on it that makes using them very uncomfortable to me. I wish they would bring the old grips back, I stopped buying their drivers in part due to that and the crappy Phillips tips they have now. Pratt Read makes a set of drivers with the old style cushion grip, that is what I am thinking of getting for my next set. In face I think I read here that Pratt Read used to manufacture the grips for them, so since Ideal owns PR now, Klein did a smart move by not purchasing from a competing electrical supplier (Ideal.)
is waiting for you in the E Valley.Your bag looks weird all new. Most folks on here don't use their tools in the places or weather we do. The only Klein tools I don't love are a pair of 18" bolt cutters and some slip joint pliers. I have broke Klien tools but have been abused. I have done the dittty bag on the side od the bucket before, but I would of advised you of cutting you bag it will start a a tear.

KLEIN is not used much by mechanics. I have a nice Klein pliers set from my electrician days, IMO some of the best dykes out there. Their journeyman line is TOP notch!! I like their magnetic tape measures, and their manual wire strippers are second to none.

Like what? No seriously, I'd like to see what german tool equivalents are priced similarly to kleins.
I love the german branded tools, but they are generally VERY expensive. And anything significantly cheaper than klein is garbage. To me kleins seem to be pretty cheap for being very good quality with a real lifetime warranty that can actually be easily exercised at local stores without receipts.![]()
I've seen some good deals on Knipex in the ''show off your new tools'' thread, also some good prices on Japanese Engineer brand pliers on ebay.No experience in warranty on those though.
You can buy Wiha screwdrivers for the same price as Klein all day long on the web.
Wiha screwdrivers are in a whole different world of quality.
Klein makes good stuff, but they do not make the best.
