I log on to Home Depot to place my order and its no longer in stock.
anywhere.

A call to HD and they say none in stock.
Dont know when they'll get them in.
Don't know if they'll get them in.

I have two, 26" roller combo's, and I was really looking forward to getting one box to hold them all.

Anyone know of a similar quality 56" combo for around the same price?

Same thing that happened to the largest (46" x 22") Milwaukee box last month. It suddenly disappeared and now only the 18" deep one is available.

Call customer care and ask that they check inventory in all stores for you. If it was ever a store item, there are probably a few still around and the web site won't tell you where they are. If they won't do it or say they can't, call the store support center 770-433-8211. Try asking for the tool box merchant. If that gets you no where, send me an IM and I will give you some names to ask for.

Glad I bought when I did! Then again it may get replaced with a new version. When I bought mine about a year ago it was carried in stores. I checked it out in two HDs before I bought it. And one of the stores had three in the stock at the time. Have to believe there is still one out there somewhere.

The website will search nearby stores for products but ONLY if they are still on the stock list. This one is listed as "no longer available". Calling stores seems to be the only thing to do.

They clearance this one out of stores last summer and I picked up a top and bottom for a great price. It's a great box and I would go with the blue husky over the black one the OP is looking at. I haven't seen any in stores for a few months but if you can find one hiding in your store somewhere you should be able to get it for half the price listed on the website.

The blue Husky has 4" more depth (front to back) in the drawers than the 56" matte black one. For my use the black one works better despite the depth because I preferred more drawers for separation and the top is a better arrangement for a cordless tool station.

The 52 for $698 has 200 cu more storage and has 120 lb drawers.

The 52 is also 18ga steel and the 56 is 19ga. The 52 has a 5yr warranty, the 56 has a 3 year.

The 52 has 19 inch deep drawers vs the 18 of the 56 but the 52 is 22 inches deep and the 56 is 20.

This is a steal at $698. I think I just convinced myself to buy it.

other than size, the 52 is a better box.

I bought mine a couple years ago and it's held up great. No side cabinet option for this model...so I bought the matching 42 with wood top and the 4 drawer cart!! Again holding up great.. I will say look at menards.com they have a similar box in gray that is deeper and looks great. I have had my hands on the smaller size and all slides and locks are good quality. Plus the drawer locks unlike the husky box. If I was in the market again that is the box I would buy. Good luck

Might want to double check the specs before committing. The 52 in your link is showing 20" depth. Top chest 18.9 deep drawers, bottom 18.1.

And in the comparison chart I see two different 52" matte black that look the same but have different spec numbers. Makes me think this is something to go measure in person.

Either way it is a nice box for the price. I am very happy with the 56" in that series. I think you will like the 52" which I have looked at a bunch of times in the store.

I see 21.7" listed as the overall depth with a 63.8" H and 52.5" W. Where are you seeing 20"?

Yes, I see that too. But then in the comparison table another box that has almost the same model # and different skew is listed as 20". The top and bottom drawer depths are in the drawer description. Also 20ga steel. Currently same price. And the two look exactly the same in pictures. Seems that there could be two versions available. 20" version has 17.1 and 17.9 drawer depths.
