Boss man and SO man didn't get along very well. No more snap on guy at work now. So now we only have the matco truck, which of course I have no tools from since i've never had a matco truck before this job. All these tool truck brands i've aquired over the years, and if I do break something (not often) its gonna be a PITA to get new stuff! Maybe I should have started with craftsmen to begin with! Oh well, all in all, its not really that big of a deal. I have 2 jobs with tool boxes at each job plus my home box so I have spares for spares.

I just call my snappy guy when I need something, I'm sure he is still willing to service you, just unable to show up at your employer.

as long as you owe him money he'll come see ya!
:lol_hitti

lol. I've only bought things on credit a handful of times. Usually cause I didn't have cash on me for some reason. always paid it right off. I've never bought from this guy though, He had a fit about warranty on 2 sockets right off the bat so I said fine, FU. I don't buy much new stuff anymore anyway, maybe a couple hundred bucks every few months.

I guess I don't get the reasoning behind your thread? You started the thread because you are miffed that your snap on dealer is no longer allowed at your employer which will make warranting tools a "Pita", Yet you don't buy much new and told him to "FU"? So confused...

I'm not "miffed" (whatever that is). I was just posting up something that happened.

No, I don't buy much anymore. I don't carry a 4k balance on the truck. Does that mean I'm not worthy of a warranty? He treated me like **** right off the bat. I could care less that he's gone. Didn't know I had to post a heartfelt teary eyed post cause I can't buy beloved snap on anymore. good riddance actually. Snap on got its money from me. probably around 50k if I could ever add it up. I'm used up.

Just trying to understand your post man, Contradicting statements and all. I didn't ask you to post a heart felt blah story, nor did I ask how many tools or there what brands you owned. It's obvious that snap on is the devil... Just check out the first 5 pages of the general tool discussion.

I've just never ever had a problem with snap on until recently. It seems i'm not the only one too. I don't want to get on a snap on debate, got enough of those. Just wanted to share something. my apologies.

I didn't ask for a apology... Only clarification, instead I got Post #8. Stick around, next week craftsman will be the devil, this place goes full circle eventually.

I read your post in the wrong context I assume. Happens when tool guys try and be authors. My bad.

You can warranty your tools through Snap-on Corporate, but you gotta send in just one single tool at a time along with a 10 page letter that explains in minute detail the circumstances that lead up to the breakage.

I'd really feel better about this place if there was some Husky bashing. I feel so empty inside that has not happened as of yet. :p

Perhaps every tool brand can have their own day? Monday=snappy, Tuesday=crafty etc and lets reserve the weekend (2 whole days) for anything from asia???

I'll see if I can start a few threads tomorrow, it only takes 1 or 2 and people will start jumping on the bandwagon. No worries...
