I found this old wrench at an estate sale. It says forged in U.S.A. on it but it has no makers mark or name on it. Any idea where these wrenches came from or who made them. I have a couple more of these in my toolbox. 017918af050ed052800b261993bfc2e9.jpg

My Father-in-Law has some of those laying about in his workroom. Never asked him, but I figured he must've bought them at the corner drug store or grocery store or etc.

These days anything old and made is the USA is Treasure, no matter how crappy or worthless the tool is... take a look at ebay or Craigslist.... Sorry op, don't know who makes them, doubt you will ever find out.

yea I am the opposite, I buy tools regardless of COO, I don't mind spending more or spending less, it have to fit the usage and needs, sometimes budget.

As for responding to related to the OP's post, I still have few tools in my junk boxes that don't have vendor markings, some stamp USA , some JAPAN, some India .... I doubt I would ever find out who makes it...basically means, there are good and crappy USA tools back in the days when everything was made in the USA... well mostly..

I got a bunch of those, they were common at auto parts and hwd stores before they had so many imports, TSC carried them, some sold in grab buckets. Very tuff, very durable. Prolly some in these pics.
