I bought a gb70 from my matco guy earlier in the year had no issues, I loved it, it got fair use. One day it started having issues, it didn't charge, I tried again the next day it charged but the LEDs weren't working had it not charge a second time and he warrantied it for me(took 2.5 monthes) got a new unit(he said they service them, my snap on guy said they ask him for verification and tell him to cut the clamps off and dispose) charged it up, used it 2 times and it won't charge again. He says he's going to swap me out to the matco versapro3 which I'm not sure how I feel about. Anyone else had any issues with any of the noco boost boxes?

I did. GB 50. It worked for about a year then it wouldn’t turn on. I kept messing around with the switches and I got the light to turn on but it took me about 15 minutes to get that to turn off. The power switch didn’t work at all. These are two separate switches so I’m surprised that both of them went at once. NOCO replaced it.

NOCO makes awesome chargers
but boost boxes seem finicky across most brands

I won't even buy one because I am sure the day I need it won't work or will be on the 2.5 month warranty trip lol

I had a GB70 in the trunk of my wife's car. The batteries expanded and bulged the plastic case. It was just a few days past the warranty so I threw it in the trash per NOCO's instructions. I replaced it with jumper cables. If I'm nearby and she needs a jump, I have an Autowit battery-less jump pack in my truck.

I was looking at one of those for a while but they didn’t feel very well made to me, then I saw this review and went another way. YMMV

The lithium small “jump boxes” are great..........but............all the brands have issues like:

Won’t charge ........
Over charge.....
Melt down.........from over charging or over current draw
Bulging cases......see melt down
Dead cells
Short life
Counterfeit units
