Purchased a Genius 1 new a few months ago for wife suv which is not driven much. It quit working and I talked with tech support at NOCO. He had me run a check and then told me to mail in as they have a 3 year warranty.
Item was replaced with a new one within a week after receiving the defective item.
Customer service excellent.
