Does anyone know how many amp/hours a noco gb40 is rated for? I can't find that rating. It is rated at 1000 peak amps, but I don't know how to convert that over to amp/hours.
Thanks
Short answer - The Noco GB40 contains a 1200 mAh battery, which is a 24 Watt Hour battery. Amps x volts = Watts, so 24 Watt Hours divided by 12 volts means you can draw 2 amps for an hour before running the Lithium-Ion dead. Or 1 amp for 2 hours.

Your numbers don't make a lot of sense. It can't be both a 1200 mAH (1.2 AH) battery and 24 WH if it's a 12V battery, because 1.2 AH x 12V = 14.4 WH.
Either the 1200 maH (1.2 AH) number is incorrect, or the battery voltage is not 12V, or both.
Manufacturers' sales literature for this kind of consumer product is always kind of vague. They want to include numbers to make it sound better than the competition, but they also don't want to give you enough technical details for you to use the numbers to compare it to other products.
