Just finished my nohr s garage floor.

When i moved my car out for the first clean, the tires had left brown stain marks on the floor. I scrubbed with simple green but it's not coming off.

Any advice on what product to use to get it off? I'll post pics later of the marks.

I probably waited 5 days or so before i pulled in. Although it's looking like each time i pull in a get a new mark.

OP, I had this same issue when I did my Nohr-S install. Perfect weather and relative humidity conditions outside, followed instructions to a T, and waited extra time before pulling any cars in. First time, and every single time, I pulled a car in or out whether parked for 40 min or 4 days I got the same type of tire marks as your pics. Did not matter if the tires were cold (just moved from outside driveway to parking spot inside), or hot from a long drive, same tire mark staining.

Did you ever get this remedied?

** I realize this is an old thread but I am re-shopping coatings for new garage. **

This is a rare event and has more to do with the tire than the coating.
Here is an article with some solutions: https://allgaragefloors.com/tire-marks-epoxy-flooring/
Respectfully, there was nothing rare about it. There were three different tire brands being used in my house on three different car types. Arguably the most popular type of sport summer tire in the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S used on a Porsche 911, a popular cheap summer tire in the Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 on an Aston Martin Vantage, and an OEM factory Pirelli P Zero run-flat tire on an X5.

Tires could be cold - for example Vantage was parked outside for days and driven 20 ft. to park inside the garage - or hot after regular or spirited driving, and it made no difference. There were tire stains and marks every time a car was parked in that garage. Not to mention, the X5 developed a slow drip leak from a motor mount bushing that left drip stains even when cleaned the next morning. Tested a spot that was cleaned after 30-45 min and still stained. Just totally disappointing for a working garage.

I was all over Shea's website before and after finishing the floor, and water/vinegar, simple green, and Goof-Off/Goo-Gone all reduced stains but never fully removed them. I sold the house after a few months so I never reached back out to you to work out a remedy.

Curious how OP resolved his issue.

In our world this is an extremely rare event. We supply thousands of gallons per month to DIY, pro-installers, manufacturing facilities, military bases, etc... and maybe once a year we hear about an issue. Always concerned to hear about any issue.

If you still had the home we would could have supplied you with a fresh clear-coat in case the first application was off in some way. Maybe it was especially cold, hot, etc...

Thanks.

My Nohr-S floor has brown tire marks, but I havent done anything to try to clean them yet. I didnt drive on the floor for 7+ days after putting it down.

One area caused by R888R's and another caused by Michelin Pilot Sport somethings(whatever is on 2019 Z06's)... Both soft tires. The spot my daily is parked in has never shown a tire mark.

Im going to try the cleaner mentioned above when I scrub the whole floor down as part of yearly cleaning in a few weeks.

THIS is the reason that I’d never spend the time and the money on an epoxy flor....I know...there are great products out there.....it would upset me so much to have these ... ‘rare events‘ on my floor.

Really???

the same tires that have left marks on my Nohr-S floor, also left marks my bare concrete floor in my old house.

Ill take a nice coated floor vs. bare concrete all day every day and twice on Sundays...
