Agreed, but I still have a bunch. Many don't survive the first tight screw before the tip gets mangled, but I keep getting them replaced so it's not all bad.
Fail, ANYTHING Campbell Hausfeld. I'm ok buying the same darned junk at HF, but at least then it's 1/3 the price.
What CH products did you have trouble with? Any certain noises to listen for?
I've got their Husky branded 60 gallon single stage compressor. Been running the piss out of it and so far, so good.
Coleman right angle air drill: pass/fail. Would be 100% better if the chuck was true and didn't make the bit wobble...
MIT branded screwdrivers: fail. Tips chip real easy...
Older Craftsman clear/blue/red screwdrivers: pass. Real durable, and work good. Take prying better than most other screwdrivers due to the square shank.
IR 2135 TiMax Quiet 1/2" impact: pass with flying colors... best damn impact I've ever used in this drive class.
Older CH 3/8" air ratchet: pass. Works good and picked it up at a flea market for 5 bucks
Anything Herbrand/Indestro/Proto/Bonney/Williams and such: pass. The old tools were and still are the real tools.
