I know this is the garage forum and my question is more about wood finishing but I figured someone here would be able to help me. I want to remove the carpet from our staircase in the house and put down hardwood stair treads. My concern is that they will be slippery and we have two little ones that I really dont need having a slip and fall down the steps. Any suggestions for poly or varnish with a non slip additive ........thanks for any help boys n girls
