My first contribution to this thread is an Ampco W-3120-C beryllium 7/16" x 1/2" DBE wrench. Found at ReStore for $1.

As first reported in the 2018 Garage Sale thread, I found this AMPCO hammer at the flea market this morning. Most likely brass. The striking faces could use a little dressing up, but it's in great shape with a fine marking. Also stamped "45" on the head and "E & B MILL SUPPLY YARD" on the handle.

I had some beryllium copper and aluminum bronze tools. I mentioned them and was offered too much money for them. They became wall hangers.

I should have posted this wrench here rather then the Copper Caper thread. It’s my first Berylco wrench. I found it at an estate sale Thursday.

You were offered "too much money" for them, so you hung them on the wall instead??? Mentioned them where? :eyecrazy::headscrat

Mick,
I could be wrong, but that thing looks older than AlBr to me! That's what they make them out of now, and ever since they dropped Beryllium. It might be BeCu. I know your post is from back in August. I just saw this now doing some searches on a relate topic.

Picked up this nice set of Berylco slip joint pliers over the weekend. With the nice patina, I don't think the seller knew what they were.

I don't think I see a pair of slip joints in Don Long's display... :drink:

I picked up these Berylco P-108 pliers yesterday. They might have to go in the for-sale pile. I try to avoid working in conditions where a spark could cause an explosion and some tools are nicer than I need them to be.

Here's a few more non-sparkies:
Ampco W-122 1-1/4" spud wrench
Ampco W-211 pipe wrench
Ampco W-212 pipe wrench
Bull Dog 7/8" box wrench
Wizard No. 121 multi bung-wrench
Ampco W-213 pipe wrench
Berylco 1-1/16" X 1" DBE wrench

Regarding the Bull Dog wrench: I don't know of its origin or its purpose. Although it's bronze, I doubt it was made for non-sparker use. I've posted this question several times on GJ: Could this be for a Prentiss swivel vise?

I picked up these P-35 linesman pliers at the flea market today. Dollar table. Seller did not know what they were.

Back in the mid 1980s we had three hand carry tool boxes of non-sparking aircraft tools. Each box was about 24" wide, 18" tall, like a suitcase. They were sequestered in the tool room to be turned in due to beryllium issues. I said what a waste to the tool room manager. He said he was going to lunch and would turn in the two tool boxes when he got back in an hour. I said wait, there are three..... and he just winked at me. The box ended up a friend's machine shop. That friend passed away 25 years ago and his wife won't talk about selling anything even though I have some of my stuff there. I consider it gone now.

I bought a beryllium copper ball pein hammer a few weeks ago so when I saw these sockets at the local autojumble, I bought them. No real need for them, but never mind.
