Anybody know how much more a custom sized garage door costs than a standard?
for example 9'6" tall by 10' wide vs standard 10x10

height is the easiest one to deal with. Garage doors are a combination of 18", 21" & 24".

So your door would be 4 24" panels and a 18".

I found a pretty wide range of quotes when I was looking for a custom size residential door. But it was easy enough to get those quotes from a few different local installers by going on their website and submitting a quote request.

The price to customize probably depends too on the style and construction of door you're looking for.

Very very few doors would be configured that way.

A commercial type door would be (3) 24 and (2) 21 and a residential type door would be (2) 21 and (4) 18

To get reliable quotes you need to apply the same requirements to the vendors.

Because there are so many options available, unless you are very specific your proposals will be all over the place.

Do you want windows, that is significant up charge. Insulated doors add more. Metal lined insulated doors with windows are the most expensive I have found.
