not how to classify these, but where does everyone keep stuff like grease guns, jumper cables, battery chargers, 4 ways, wheel pullers, come-a-longs, ect....

When one upgrades their tool boxes to better tool boxes the older ones get re purposed perfectly for holding these "non-tool" items. My old reliable 26" 5 drawer CM are never tossed they just become "specialized".

I have two of the large 24x48 steel shelving assemblies in my garage attic, and all of that stuff goes up there. If I didn't have that attic in my rental garage there's no way I'd fit two vehicles in there with the number of tools that I own.

4 drawer filing cabinets. Often found free or really cheap on Craigslist.

Grease guns in a tote to keep them clean and to keep everything else grease free.

Jumper cables coiled in a bucket on a hook.

Small chargers on a shelf, wheeled charger between two doors.

4-ways and come alongs on the wall.

Pullers in a drawer.

I hang my hand grease guns on the overhead door track. Battery charger is kept in an area of one bench that is the battery charging area. Everything eles is either hung on pegboard on the shelves.

I have a pretty small shop so there is very little space on any wall where there isn't a shelf, hook or nail with something parked on it. In fact there is so much stuff hanging on the walls it can be difficult to find what I'm looking for. Battery chargers are in a wooden cabinet drawer.

Here's a couple of the solutions I've made...

My first question would be why the hell does anyone still use a 4 way today?

Ha! but I almost bought one from the thrift store last week, it was made in Canada  guess I ended up passing for above reasons.

Then there is the gigantic one I got with my 54 power wagon way back when. That thing was a keeper but sadly it's no longer with me.

I've got a couple of things hanging from coated hooks screwed into the ceiling joists, more now than since this pic was taken.
