I have an aggravating verticle crack in the mortar between the rock and my Hardi-Board. I want to caulk it but everything I find eventually yellows.

What experiences do you guys have? I will eventually re-mortar but I want to caulk for now.

Maybe "caulk" is not the answer.....what say you?

I'd use either a gray mortar or siding color caulk. You won't find a slew of colors at the store but you can buy many colors online. Clear silicone is the best for staying clearish but not the best choice. It's hard to apply neatly unless you run parallel strips of tape and tool it with your finger dipped in soapy water.
