hey everyone, new to the forum,..........love it!

a little info, i'm from calgary alberta, and i have a 26x30 garage, 2x6 frame, 10 foot ceiling, and one double door and one single,

we just purchased this house and this garage was just built a few months back, its detached and has no windows.....now i've always liked windows for some ventilation, but the security thing is my only problem, what do you guys think should i cut in a few windows ?? pros, cons?

Welcome aboard! From a fellow cannuck! :canada:
Your gonna love this site, tons of info floating around!
I'll give you some hints...
Put in your general location; you do that in "User CP" under "Your Profile" in "Edit Your Details" it lets everyone see approximately where you are & they can better answer questions regarding building codes, weather related, like gardening, tree maintinace & other stuff like that.
Practice with the search function; there are so many questions that have already been answered & in great detail. Some people won't respond the second (or 3rd) time a question is asked, some will respond every time but you stand a good chance of missing out on some good info.
There is soooooo much great stuff on this board... read threw lots of the old posts, the things you can learn is wild.

This section ("Introduce yourself here") is probably the least looked at section (my opinion only) on the forum. I suggest you repost your garage window question in the "General Garage Discussion" section itself. You will get way more responses.

As far as the window thing goes, with 10' walls, but in windows up high so no one can see in & put bars on them for security. I don't always like bars on windows, some windows could be required for fire escapes. Bars in that situation are bad, but not so in your situation.

I would be happy to help out with any questions that might come up. If you don't want to post something on the open forum. Just fire me off a PM & i'll do what I can.

Oh YA: Don't mention PVC airlines anyware !!! :deadhorse
Anyway have fun & enjoy your time here!
