Noob in Colo

Got a small house on 1/3 acre. I need a large garage, but I'm short on $. Are there any ideas, plans, suggestions on building something that can be enlarged and/or expanded over time? I'm imagining a 1 car to start with, then adding another car and knocking out a wall to expand. Or is this an not so good idea because of cost over time?

My suggestion is to save and plan. Rushing usually leads to disappointment later.

If you "need" something right away you could look at the perfab metal "shed" type. Look at Bugdust's 20x20 and then you could save and plan for the better shop depending on the size you might be able to build it right over top of the shed then remove the shed.
