Hi guys, figured I better post an intro. I learned of this board through its sister site the "HAMB". I am finally getting started on the garage that I have been dreaming about for many years. I have scored some trusses in the size I was hoping for and will be starting from the top down I guess. 
I am cheap and poor, but more the latter than the first when it comes to this project, so I will be asking a ton of questions as I design and build my dream come true. I will be doing a pole barn style of garage and adding concrete later as my budget allows.
I have already started on a few questions, and have been getting great answers. Thanks to all who make this site happen- the people that host it, and the people willing to share their knowledge. I truly appreciate it.
