Dear Garage Journal,

For the past year, I've been staring at my messy excuse for a "shop" with tone wood strewn around along with a few vintage power tools. At a loss, I ignored it for a while until I saw the white workshop posts on the front page.

I'm a dentist. I build guitars for fun. I don't have a ton of money, as I'm just starting out (and I really, really don't like "selling" unnecessary treatment to patients.)

Anyways, I'll be glad to be joining this forum!

ps. Has anyone posted on a good drill press stand before? I have a "light duty" 15" Walker Turner press that is about 400 lb of awesome. It's in the middle of my workshop in need of a mobile stand.
