Hello everyone! I'm getting some great ideas for the forum here. I recently moved here from the greater Chicago area. My current garage setup is much smaller than I had before, so I have to be creative.
I wish I had taken pictures but I didn't even think about it at the time. The PO of this house kept the house in perfect condition. He never did much to the garage thoough. Since I have moved in, I have frilled all the holes in the walls, painted them (pale yellow) Added a checkered flag "strip" (wall paper boarder) 40" off the floor and hung 2 cabinets. One is glass front, the other is stainless front from Costco. Also a few small SS shelves and small signs. (Ferrari, BMW, Jaguar)
I am about to epoxy the floors. Well, as soon as this water use ban is over and it warms back up a little that is! I've cleaned them the best I can and use the TSP substitue to clean them up. Still I have some staining and one spot of paint on the floor. (My 3 yo son was "helping" me paint the walls) I can't seem to get the paint off the floor. Is it okay to epoxy over it since it isn't flaking or pealing?
Anyway, as usual, I don't have enough room. I'm kinda in troulbe as fars a having a place for everything. Most of my hand tools are in place and orginized, as are my car supplies. The yard stuff, well thats another story. We can't have out buildings here due to the HOA rules, so I have to make room for it in the garage. No good since all my woodworking stuff is still in boxes. I guess I may have to give that up for a while.
I hope to get pictures posted soon. I look forward to learning more from you folks. FWIW, My 2 car attached garage barely fits my 745Li and Durango. Well, the DUrango fits okay, but the BMW is a seriously tight squeeze!
IF anyone knows of some freebee kitchen cabinets around Roswell, LMK. I need to build some sort of work bench.
