Greetings all

This will be my first post so I hope I'll get it right

By way of introduction, I'm Omid and live in Adelaide, South Australia. Not sure if there are any Aussies here.

I have a query about the motor that goes into a Bendpak HD-9XW 4-post car lift but am not sure where to ask the question.

Any help to that end would be much appreciated.

In any event, I wish to know if a larger motor can be used than the one that comes standard.

Welcome to the forum from the shore of San Diego Bay. Regretfully I have no experience with car lifts, but I am confident there will be others who, if they can't answer your question, will be pleased to point you in the proper direction.

Do you have a lift with the motor? if so, a replacement can be found by using the information on the motor name plate.

For a given frame size there may be several options.

In line with your remarks about oceans and languages .. it's a short bridge, that which connects hearts to hearts

As for the motor, I'm trying to buy a lift for the house I'm building. I just thought the motor could do with a bit more juice, hence my query.


Last but not least, the only other place I'd happily live in, other than where I am, it's San Diego, hands down; I miss the place. Besides, your zoo is populated with tons of Australian animals, so I'd feel right at home lol
