Hi All,

This is my first time posting, I've stolen a bunch of ideas from this site and am very glad it exists. I wanted to show you all what I did with a nook in the garage that was a perfect fit for old cabinets in my basement. I think they were the original kitchen cabinets before the previous owners renovated it. Enjoy!

It only let me upload a few photos, here are the rest. The last one is of the bench top, which is an old door from a convent. I bought it at Buffalo Restore, a habitat for humanity store that salvages usable items from old buildings.

If those are metal kitchen cabinets, those are sweet. Be sure to post a pic when you get them in place.

A quick note on my garage. That garage door you're looking at is the rear garage door. My garage has 2 garage doors. Otherwise, there would be no access to the yard for something large.

Nice work! Post some more pics on the pull through. I was actually thinking about doing that to my existing garage for more room as well as ventilation in the summer. And yes, this forum is awesome.

Here are some more pics. The drive-thru has its positives and negatives. It does allow me to have access to the yard, however it limits storage options. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm always searching for ways to cleverly add storage to the garage, so feel free to provide some suggestions.

I was going for the craftsman/husky red look. Except my spray painting skills are not that awesome. It looks glossy and flat at different parts. I was thinking of applying a clear coat to get the shiny look.
