Sometimes life throws me a curve ball because I was not aware of the following company Nordic Forge Inc. I just so happened to find and old hand punch in a box of tools and it was stamped Nordic Forge USA.
After doing a web-search I found the company is still in business making hand and edge tools for the horse trades; they were founded back in 1886 in Guttenberg, Iowa.
They Say..."Nordic Forge Inc. is the third generation family run factory located in Guttenberg, Iowa. Nordic Forge Inc. prides itself on making quality farrier tools for the professional".
I found a nice video link in case you were interested and a picture of the punch which looks to be very well made.
