What can anyone tell me about this drill press? I was able to pick one up for free so it was worth the money. The bearing that controls the variable speed was shot so the that wasn't working. A new bearing should fix that. Any there anything else to look for? The rest of the bearings seem tight.
I was wanting a bigger drill press to replace my old Craftsman bench top one. I checked the run out and I had .005 of play. That seems good enough for a farm shop.
