Does the line have a split in it or just leaking at the connection. If it's the connection it may of just vibrated loose and need to be snugged up.
If you fill the tank, unplug it, and then take a soapy solution it will help you pinpoint the leak.

Yes I can but I have no flaring tool, I thought it might just be easier to order a part already made, thank you for your help

That line, or the valve at the pressure switch end, should leak air momentarily when the compressor shuts off, it's meant to relieve the pressure in the pump's cylinder for easier startup on it's next cycle.
If it's leaking any time the compressor is turned off, then you have a leak in the check valve that goes into the top of the tank. The yellow line comes from the pump and into the tank, the large brass part where the yellow line attaches has a check valve in it that lets the air into the tank from the pump, but doesn't allow it back out of the tank.
The small valve on the pressure switch end opens when the compressor is turned off and relieves the pressure from the yellow line and the compressor.

Drain the pressure out of the tank and then take the cap off the top of the check valve and see if there's any garbage caught in there.

The copper line itself an the nuts that hold it on are common hardware store items, also available on Amazon if you search "air compressor check valve"

If you don't feel that this is not justification for a new tool, then get a bigger compressor.

Seriously, replacing a leaking copper line is a pretty basic plumbing repair.

I replaced a mangled line just yesterday for a friend of mine (The copper unloader line on the front). A couple of feet of tubing and two ferrules and about 15 minutes of hand-bending. An easy job for just about anybody.copper.jpg

tdkkart said it all. If you soap the 2 fittings on the check valve and they don't leak, then it's the check valve. A small piece of 'poopie' can get lodged in the valve preventing it from seating completely.

That copper line quite often has compression fittings on it.

That yellow one sort if looks like flexible gas line.
