If you just need the bottom box, the fine print shows the price as $300 for just the bottom box. I don't need the top box, but if I have it shipped it runs $131 with no tax in my ZIP. If I buy the similar HF 44" box it is $349(or $359, or $369) + $97 to ship + ~$22 in tax...

Do you think they would have some fine print against doing that for the Black Friday stuff? But I think it would be worth checking it out. Go through ebates.com too, then you can get some cash back on the whole deal.

Nah, the ad says prices are only good in-store. Looks like I'm just gonna miss out on it... or else pay $100 more by getting it later in the week.

I had been saving up for a new box for a few months and was still about $150 short. My wife told me to use the credit card for the difference as long as I will pay the bill when I sell my old boxes.

Anyways, I got up early this morning and headed down to Northern. I was the first one in the parking lot, ended up about 5th in line after others started showing up. As soon as the doors opened I went to the cash register and checked out. The guy didn't even know what was in their sale ad, so he had to grab one to get the item #'s. The guy at the loading dock claimed it wouldn't fit in the back of the van, but it fit just fine.
Now I'm about to unload, set it up and snap some pics. This is a good day so far!

Wait, same thing at Amazon it seems, ahh but $280 for shipping kills it!.

No reason one could not get the local store to match the amazon price without shipping.

So, I got back home around 5pm... called my local NT store, they said they were sold out for today (I noticed they said "today", which I assume means they have some but they let go all they're willing to for $600). I saw here CactusS4 mentioned it was showing the sale price on Amazon... so I checked the website, it showed the price there despite the ad saying prices were in-store only. Also, there's an online-only deal plastered all over the site, $100 and up orders get a free gift card (for $500-$999 orders, it's a $50 gift card).

So I put in my order for the $600 combo and a free $50 gift card, selected in-store pickup, and we'll see how it goes.
