I used a new code of 147821 and it worked today. $50 of $250. New bench grinder (and a cut off wheel to get it over $250) on the way. The free shipping did go away with the code though. Still 60 pounds of shipping was only $5.99.

As you can see those numbers are in sequence... I would try going one higher or lower and it might be the $50 off $250 coupon... Worth a shot...

That's about the only word I can think of at this moment to express Northern Tool. I know this isn't a vendor review thread but I placed an order earlier this morning and forgot to use the coupon code. I called their customer care number, explained my situation to a gentleman and without hesitation he took care of me even though I screwed up. I am absolutely flawed by this level of customer service. Northern Tool just took a huge jump in my book. A+ company.

took me one try and i nailed a 50 off 250.
196450 is 50 off 250 order. one problem is that it shows online, but its a faulty code in that it doesn't take the amount off the order. you need to call in to have them take the amount off, guy said theyve had more than a few problems with some discount codes today so shouldn't be an issue. by the time anyone uses this one it should be fixed. just got off the phone with the guy and apparently the coupon codes are so new that they are not useable during black friday/cyber monday sales even though the items don't qualify for it.... talk about cheapasses lol.
so i'll use the code tomorrow and get my stuff then report back. hopefully others can use these codes i've found and save some dough

Thanks to Kracin, I just ordered a Hobart Handler 140 which is on sale right now for $500 and used the above code for $100 gift card! 
I've been eyeing that welder for probably half a year and nearly ordered it last week when it went on sale alongside with the $50 gift card promotion for its value. But then I came across another thread where you posted double gift card promotion and took the bait!
