Northern Tool Klutch Hand Tools

So I know there have been a ton of clearance on Northern Industrial hand tools the last couple of days (weeks?). As I suspected, they are bringing in a new line of hand tools. Klutch is the brand name now, not northern industrial. Lifetime guarantee, open stock wrenches to warranty broken ones (so you no longer have to warranty an entire set, which I hate with those cheap hand tools).

The warranty also seems to have changed. It is no a "no questions asked" warranty, which hopefully means no receipt needed. But of course, YMMV with warranties depending on your store.

COO is still unknown, but I would expect China/Taiwan.

They've had the Klutch stuff out for a couple of years now, it had already replaced the Northern Industreal stuff in a few areas. May be worth while going to my local NT and see if they have any of the impact sockets on clearance.

I have a set of Klutch screwdrivers and I a pretty impressed with them. I use them almost daily and they have yet to show wear

I'd trade 5 harbor freight stores for one northern tool. Seems like they carry better stuff.

I go to the Northern Tool in Milwaukee. They have a lot of industrial/commercial stuff that I can't find elsewhere. I can't say their made in China hand tools are much better or worse than Menards/Home Depot/Fleet Farm/Tractor Supply etc.

Klutch is the same thing as northern industrial, a Northern Tool owned house brand. They must have updated some of their sourcing with the name.
