Can anyone speak as to the quality of this set or Northern Tools in general. I've never had any of their products. Lot of items for the price but, of course, you usually get what you pay for. Thanks.

Roughly on par with similar offerings at Harbor Freight. You hit the nail on the head with "you get what you pay for." For $14 you can look at the bits as disposable if you're using them around the house. I wouldn't take them to work and rely on them for your livelihood though.

I was given this set as a gift. It sits on a shelf in my shop and is only occasionally used as emergency backup. I would say it is great for your typical homeowner, but not something I would recommend for folks on this forum due to marginal quality.
