Hi, I'm a new registered user to the forums, but have been poking my head around for a long time.

I sure could use some expertise.

I was able to pick up an old table saw for a good price over the weekend.

It looks a lot like an old Delta Unisaw, but it has the brand name Northwood.
It's 5 hp, 220 volt, and can handle a 12" blade.

I can find zero reference to any other Northwood table saw online.

Doe's anyone know anything about these machines?

I plan on restoring it in my almost done newly built shop. I want it to be the centerpiece. The blade has some wobble, so I plan on replacing the bearings.

I would appreciate anything anyone has to offer.

Not much over on the owwm site:

The Northwood name was trademarked by Persepolis Supply Co. Inc., doing business as Northwood Industrial Machinery Corp. The trademark filing lists jointers, planers, shapers, lathes, sanders, molders, pin routers, bandsaws, tablesaws, and doweling machines. At some point the registration was changed to Northwood Industrial Machinery, Inc.

I've never seen or heard of one, either.

Have you tried multiple blades to rule out a bent blade causing the wobble?
I've never heard of that brand, but it looks to be a nice quality machine that will probably last a lifetime if taken care of.

How about checking the blade washers. They also can ge bent if they are the pressed ones and someone over tightened them
