I found an old hardware store here in Ohio that has a lot of NOS SK and Indestro hand tools. They look like the stuff they both put out in the 70s. It's a real mixed bag on what they have size and types of wrenches. It's in Fremont,Ohio - Associated Buyers True Value. I also picked up a NOS Kennedy 220 2 drawer toolbox for $87.

Grab me a SK metric combo wrench set!

Raised panel if you can.
They didn't have any sets, it's just a mix of stuff. There is more SAE than metric and the metric and sae are missing some of the more popular sizes. They had more Indestro metric combo wrench than SK. I'll be back that way in a few weeks I'll try to take some photos of the boards the tools are on.

I've got a freshly restored socket box that needs 3/8" drive deep metric sockets, and 70's era would be perfect!

I'll try and contact the store, and see if they can put together what I need.

Sounds awesome but its 2 -1/2 hours away.
Wimp ;)

It's a 5 hour plane flight from here, and then goodness knows how much drive. Maybe there will be some in the fall when I get closer.

Trying to see if my daughter will be nearby, she's only two hours away.

I have this extra S-K Wayne 1/4” drive ratchet handle. It would need to have a new kit installed or the works from any other S-K sourced 1/4” drive ratchet. Anybody interested?

There's a certain # rebuild kit. Being S-K is way behind now I'd say it'd be a crapshoot getting one.

There's a thread somewhere that talks about "3/8" anvil in 1/4" ratchet body" And I think guys were posting kit numbers for reference. If you find that you should be able to track down the # S-K kit you need.

If I can find the tread and the number I will try and get one.

This is the heading:

3/8 drive head in 1/4 ratchet body

PS - I bumped the thread with some of my palm ratchet pics to get it to the top of the General forum display for ya.

I live ten minutes from that store. Actually had a conversation at a gun show about it the other day...turns out they're an ffl as well! Haven't been there in years. Last time I went by there I thought they looked closed down, but I was wrong. Glad you were able to stop in and visit them and hopefully find some stuff you need!

It's a fun place. I bought a new Kennedy 220 toolbox for $75 and a bunch of Indestro tools. They still have a few pistols and long arms, and it looks like a little ammo. I'm about to make another run out that way soon to see if there is anything I forgot to pick up.
