Loose sockets or wrenches will take a lot of time and not be worth it. Socket sets or wrench sets would sell much quicker.

Buy the sets as cheap as you can. The NOS stuff is like gold on fleabay or here.
sets are good. singles are bad. it is that way with nearly any brand. you will rarely have what the people want or need. if it is nos sets i may have interest. older sk definately has value in sets. you may not retire on it but you should be able to get yor money back and pay for the stuff you want if you decide to keep some.

A friend of mine is looking for SK wrenches. Specifically, metric, chrome, long. Individuals, or as a set. Let me know if you end up getting some of those.

The only time singles are worth selling in my experience is when they are a tooltuck brand.
Especially Snap On.
But even then, they aren't worth much at all.

I found it to be worth my time when I bought my lot of NOS SK. Of course, I have a ton left over (mostly singles) that I will probably never sell, but I expected that going into it.
It would be easy to sell if I dragged it off to a flea market and priced all the singles at 50 cents or a dollar, but I doubt I will ever do it.

I discovered a treasure trove of nos SK -bunch of loose stuff and quite a few sets in metal boxes. Is it worth my time to buy it to resell? Is there still good demand for older SK?
Not enough information. I can't even make a guess without a better idea of what it is, how much of it there is, and what it would cost.
Sometimes a bulk deal that makes no sense to try and sell item by item, works out very well as something to trade between other sellers, IF the buying price is low enough.
